In 1997, the first Allerban® antibacterial treatment was born. This long-lasting treatment, integrated into the Dacron Comforel fibre, which is able to withstand wash after wash and prevent the development of the dust mites (dermatophagoides pteronyssinus), fungi (aspergillus repens) and bacteria (staphylococcus aureus and klebsiella pneumoniae) which are commonly found in our bedding. The Euroquilt Dacron Allerban Duvets are perfect for asthma sufferers.

The High technology Dacron Comforel filling fibres used to ensure your duvet or pillow will last many years to come and maintains its original appearance & loft - this fibre is very popular with the more discerning hotel chains due to the combination of quality and outstanding resistance to washing (up to 60 degrees)

The Allerban® treatment has been thoroughly tested against all health and safety requirements and pronounced safe in every respect. The active agent is a tried and tested technology which has been EPA registered since 1976 and has been used safely for over 30 years in other domains (e.g. underwear, diapers, surgical drapes).

Our range of Allerban® reduce the presence of dust mites in your pillow and duvet and so allow you to spend nights with healthier sleep comfort.

The construction of the casing is naturally made to the exacting standard's that one would expect from Euroquilt - cassette boxes made with baffle walls ensure filling is safely contained and will not move around the duvet. Cheaper duvets on the market may be stitched through from top to bottom - this leads to 'cold spots' where the top and bottom meet without any filling. The casing for the Allerban duvets are made from the finest 100% cotton, with a finely woven 233 thread count.
