Euroquilt 85% European Goose Down duvets have a tightly woven 233 thread count pure cotton casings to securely hold the filling within. The 85% European Goose Down with 15% goose feather used will provide you with a wonderfully light duvet that has a great loft. The quality of the carefully chosen 85% European goose down far exceeds most other duvets on the market today. We have also included 2.5 & 4.5 summer weight duvets with a 70% European Goose Down filling for those of you who prefer a slightly heavier duvet due to more feather fill for the summer months (titled standard fill)

European Goose Down Benefits: The Euroquilt European Goose Down has a slightly smaller Cluster size with slightly less curl on the feathers, this gives slightly less loft and therefore more filling is required to attain the same thermal properties. This means a slightly heavier duvet for those of you out there that prefer this yet they still have small down clusters on the base of the feather to aid loft. Cleansed to a turbidity level of 1000mm which is over 3 times the European cleanliness requirement of 300mm. All of Euroquilt fillings are class 1 – a by-product of the food industry are ethically sourced in Europe and Siberia and are processed in line with the EDFA. (European Down and Feather Association.

Companies using these brands have the down and feathers they process tested at a hygiene laboratory and document the origin and processing of the filling material.  
DOWNAFRESH is a guarantee that the filling of down and feather complies with the strictest hygienic requirements, established according to the European standard EN 12935. Furthermore, the filling material is washed with washing detergents that are not harmful to nature. Additionally, feather and down is tested by an impartial test institute to ensure the product does not contain substances harmful to the environment. Downafresh is a guarantee that the manufacturer has an audited traceability system for the feather & down filling material they use and that this complies with all laws and regulations relating to animal welfare and ethics.

Please note that any Euroquilt duvets can be connected together to create an all seasons duvet. If you can't see the all season tog combination you require then simply buy the two tog duvets you want to be able to connect together and let us know when at the point of ordering in the notes section. The duvets connect together with a popper system.
